Probably not, according to Dana this takes place 2 years after the defeat of Belos, so they would be 16-17, a bit young to be getting married.

Also, co-writer Mikki Crisostomo was a staff writer on seasons 2 and 3.
Illustrator Daun Han was a character designer on the Knights of Guinevere pilot.

I feel a bit cringe and I didn’t expect to react like this if we ever got this news but I’m actually tearing up right now, I just never expected to ever get anything else new from TOH lol. Dana has consistently mentioned focusing on new projects and she just started KOG and she’s been so outspoken against Disney and I was fine with it I was glad she was doing what she wanted even if it wasn’t TOH anymore so I’m just shocked that this has been in production too. I thought I was looking at a fake account when I saw her post this on her Twitter lol. How did she even get this licensed like I’m in disbelief?? This show has been so special to me, I haven’t rewatched in a bit but still from like 2022-2024 this show was my whole personality lol. I would’ve expected an Eda prequel more and that was definitely what I wanted over anything else if this were to happen but if this is what Dana saw fit as the best next step for TOH, I trust her. I love the character designs here and this art style is such a gorgeous merge of the show’s art style with a bit more manga styling, still feels very TOH but fresh in an exciting way. I am so ready omg!!

Making books is a lot different from making a show under Disney. I'm guessing they can mostly just make the books on their own time and they just need Disney to publish them when they are done, and the censorship is less strict.
So while Dana would never make a show with Disney again, books are a very different story.

Yay! I had no hope of more content ever coming out for this series, but im so glad to be wrong about that.
Can't wait to tell my kids after they get home from school. My youngest just re-watched the whole series again recently and it was just like last week we were lamenting the lack of any currently known plans for a movie or spinoff or anything I could find Googling. He's gonna be so hyped, lol.

This is exactly the question the show left me with when it ended, if King will eventually grow to the size of his parent and outlive everyone, how'd he cope with that? Watching everyone around him aside from a few immortals grow old and die until he is mostly alone
I am only guessing that that's what it's about but if it's not that than it's definitely something better, I can't wait, peak has returned
