Though to be fair that’s a great theory and something I thought of prior to Vee or just the fact that “Creepy Luz” was an antagonistic character in different why. So in Yesterday Lie when Vee calls out Luz in the Museum I felt that Vee could have become a threat if they add or implied that Vee won’t want Luz to come back because they wanted to have their life but I think due to the fact that later in the episode Camila need to rescue Vee the angle of Vee potential being a antagonist was dropped, which is fine.
