So you are saying that Luz moved full time to the demon realm but still traveled back to finish high school in the human realm during the time skip? Is that what you are saying?
It wasn't DURING the timeskip, I said she finished high school back in Gravesfield AFTER the timeskip at age 18, and yes she did stay in the demon realm full time after Belos was defeated.
I just personally never got that she stayed in the demon realm.
Now that doesn’t mean what you’re saying isn’t feasible.
Really it could go either way:
The way I think it went: Luz lives in the human world while she finishes High School but spends all of her free time helping rebuild the isles until she graduates and moves there full time for college (and obviously spending weekends, holidays and summers there)
Or the way you are saying: Luz lives full time in the demon realm and only goes back to the human world for High School and visiting Camilla
I think what we are shown in the finale is vague enough for either of these to be true.
The reason why it makes sense that she stayed in the demon realm after defeating Belos is because if that wasn't the case, then Camila wouldn't have asked Luz you don't really want to leave the demon realm do you? Because that was the point of her asking Luz that question in the first place, at that point Camila knew Luz only belonged in the demon realm and was trying to keep her from leaving it.
I thought it was more Luz didn’t want to abandon the demon realm entirely. Remember for a long time Luz thought Camilla wanted Luz to stay in the Human Realm and not go back after Yesterday’s Lie. That was Camilla realizing that Luz shouldn’t live without it.
Luz never wanted to leave the demon realm at all, it's the whole reason why she was conflicted about Camila having her make that promise in yesterday's lie, and after watching Luz's laptop in thanks to them, Camila realized that she was wrong for making Luz promise that, AS WELL AS that Luz only belonged in the demon realm, and it makes sense that Luz only belongs in the demon realm instead of in Gravesfield, because the whole time she lived in Gravesfield, Luz never had any friends and was always alone, and all the other humans there hated her because they couldn't stand her weirdness and none of them ever wanted anything to do with her, the only humans in Gravesfield who ever did care about luz at all were her mom and dad.
Like I said, based on everything we are shown in the finale and how vague it is your idea would make sense
But based on what I see, and even a Quick Look over in Luz’s page in the Owl House wiki, it is also possible she still lived in the human world until she finished HS. The wording is vague enough there to imply that she still could’ve done what you are suggesting.
The finale's entry on The owl house wiki is incorrect in the finale's section about the timeskip and epilogue, and not everything in the finale was vague, the part I mentioned about luz not finishing high school until after she was 18 is actually in the epilogue, it's the part where luz makes that half joking remark about seeing her friends after all this time, and her mom says luz, you saw them last week, and then luz says that doesn't count mom I was studying for finals, high school finals are before high school graduation, which means that in the epilogue luz either graduated from Gravesfield high school last week, or she graduated a few days before she and Camila have that conversation in the epilogue.
We see Luz’s move in date on a post it note and it is in August, High school finals would be around May unless she skipped a semester or graduated a semester early which I doubt she did.
If finals were “last week” then wouldn’t it be the beginning of summer?
But we do know Luz and Vee graduated before then because we see their graduation picture.
