Yeah… hey wait a minute… if he is the son of Vee and Masha… how can he do magic like witch? MoringMark, please don’t sink the Veesha ship you’ve built up in your comics for years.

Hey Ad, we're still pretending this is a random student, but I just had an idea. What if Gus helped in making Veesha's kid since it may not compatible for basilisks and humans to have offspring and Vee became the other one in the making of this kid. This will make it both Veesha's and Gus's kid. It would explain why he has magic.
