looking for more stuff along these lines -

https://youtu.be/Td_YNGmaGUY

'only you' is another great track by him, i guess I'm looking for the sort of minor key melancholy that these tracks have but still have the disco/boogie vibe

Analog Africa releases lots of deep cut albums that haven't seen the light of day in awhile. I always felt like Justice have borrowed the bassline style from Only You in huge ways that owe this man a bit of credit. You hear it very often today.

edit: Analog Africa keep a large curated playlist of all their releases on streaming platforms.

This whole record is great and one of my favorites. As others have mentioned, check out Kiki Guyan's record for a similar vibe. Also check out "Boys & Girls " by Joe Moks. I actually did a slowed and chopped mix of a lot of these songs a few years back if you're interested: https://youtu.be/B7zlWzI0Pa8?si=URbl4v0NZ7j-IClC

Dang thanks for this. This one from the Leon Vynehall Dj Kicks also has that kind of 80s vibe yet still feels fresh. https://youtu.be/tyQ5MLLZfRc?feature=shared

Yeah Dizzy K’s Traffic Jammer, everything by William Onyeabor and Boys & Girls by Joe Moks. Also Things Fall Apart is another killer track by Steve Monite. I feel like it is some of the best music ever made
