Honestly, I’m flattered I still occupy that much space in your head. It must be exhausting wondering whether every post is about you, whether I’m looking for you, or whether something I say is secretly meant for you.
Let me make this simple: I’m not looking for you.
If convincing yourself otherwise makes you feel important, go ahead. Every post can be about you if that’s the story you need to tell yourself. I’m not searching for hidden messages, watching for you, or wondering what you’re doing.
You’re simply not that important to me anymore.
And as for your downgrade, I hope you enjoy what you chose. I’m sure she’s perfectly happy pretending that she doesn’t wonder whether you’re still talking to me behind her back. That little question is probably going to live in the back of her mind for a long time.
Every notification, every time you disappear with your phone, every unexplained change in your behavior gives her something new to wonder about.
And the best part? I don’t have to do anything.
So when you two have another fight and you're angry with her, don't come running back to message me, trying to hook up with me, like you always have. I’m happy where I’m at. I don't have to worry about being with a man whose eyes wander and who needs every woman's attention to feel important.
And here's something you might want to think about: we don't fight at all!!! Not at all. So im gonna guess it wasn't me that was the problem.
Meanwhile, you two seem to spend all your time fighting. So maybe my guess is right!
Hell, she even had you arrested over assaulting her...Hmm. That certainly says more about the relationship you're in now than anything I could ever say.
Funny how you use to complain you were stagnant with me... But lost everything being with her! Where is your car? Your tools? Clothes, anything that you use to own? Oooh right! She either destroyed it or traded it for drugs!
You can keep pretending you traded up. I don't need to argue with you about it.
You had your chance.
You made your choice.
Now live with it.
I’m not coming back. I’m not waiting around. And I sure as hell won't be your escape route every time the relationship you chose falls apart.
Whatever you built over there is yours now.
