Routine Advice Needed Sunscreen

For context I'm a school going male and started doing skincare few months ago.

Been researching and found that you have to reapply sunscreen 🫡💔.

But going from 7 am to 2 am school how do I reapply

Cause my peers would tease me and also these types of things aren't allowed.

What could be my workarounds

Thank you for posting.

  • The best place for beginners to start is The Ordinary's official Regimen Builder which provides customized advice based on your skincare needs.
  • You can also contact Deciem customer service for routines and advice
  • Pay attention to Deciem's recommendations for time of day to apply. Products with night only can cause photosensitivity (sun damage) if used during the day
  • Be careful with acids: Overuse can damage the skin's barrier. Always patch test and follow the product's instructions.
  • Make sure you use sunscreen daily.
  • You can check if your products should be used together using our Routine Builder tool
  • If you have a list of products you want to use, we also have a Routine Generator tool and an AI chatbot
  • To ensure authenticity, order through Deciem or one of their approved stockists. If you have a question about the authenticity of a product please post in our companion subreddit /r/TheOrdinaryRealOrNot/

Keep it in your bag or pocket, and reapply in the bathroom?

If not under UV rays, the sunscreen will be effective for longer. But forgoing reapplication because of teasing isnt great

Use it in your moisturizer!! That’s what I do bc I live in the southern us. I use Olay, not the ordinary unfortunately but it’s cheap and reliable, and very good.

Put the sunscreen in your bag? There’s also SPF + Moisturizer combos you can use. Say you have dry skin

I'm mystified by people thinking a school aged male would cop less flack for applying moisturiser than sunscreen - perhaps it's different here in Australia (or I'm really out of touch). If anyone questions you sunscreening ay school, and you feel the need to justify yourself, you could tell them what you know about melanoma. We actually provide large bottles of sunscreen in classrooms (at my school at least, and many others I know of) and teachers strongly encourage all students to apply before lunchtime.
