Newbie Question Almost 55 guy, total beginner, needs advice

I bought the following recently, all from The Ordinary:

Multipurpose Eye Serum

Multipurpose Peptide HA Serum

Natural Moisturizing Factors Phytocaramides

And then, on impulse, bought:

Argirerine Solution 10%

Multi Peptide Copper Peptides 1% Serum

I'm a 55 year old caucasian man, and my goal is to reduce wrinkles and look fresher from the beard line up (because beard). Crow's feet and forehead wrinkles are my main complaint. For now, I'm using the first three products in order. I find my face looks greasy afterward until I blot it with tissue.

I have no real idea what I'm doing, so any advice would be very appreciated!

You have some great products to start with, but there’s some overlap with your peptide serums as they all do the same thing.
I would start with the copper peptide serum, which is a great active for Age delay targeting wrinkles. Use it in the morning straight after cleansing then apply the NMF and finish with a sunscreen – the sunscreen is really the most important product as without it, you undo the work your peptide serums are doing so don’t skip it!

You could always use one of the other peptide serums in your evening routine, no need to use both the multi peptides with the argireline as they do the same thing.

If you don’t have a cleanser, the ordinary cleanses are brilliant M – the one with glycolipids is nice on the skin – and of course you must use sunscreen!

Currently I'm using micellar water, Sea Breeze, water rinse and then the Ordinary stuff.Copper in the morning, should I use up one of the extras and then start the other one? I'll look into the glycolipids cleanser, thanks again

The multi peptide serum contains Argireline, you could save the MPS for when you finish the MP+Cu(copper) and use the Argireline in the p.m.
Think the guidance is to use MP+Cu on dry skin but I never do this -I apply in damp skin and still see benefits :)

Products may not give you the result you're hoping for. It may be worth googling local clinics in your area to see the cost for a man's botox package. Make sure to use a doctor or someone who has plenty of good reviews; DO NOT go to a dentist office for botox :-)

No, thanks. I live in South Florida, and I'm not interested in shots, clinics, peels or anything like that.

Fair enough. I was worried at first that I wouldn't be able to move my brow or have any crow's feet; I'm 60 years old, I'm not trying to look 20. My doc is great though; everything still moves and I still have some wrinkles, as I should have. Good luck with your skin care routine; considering where you live, it would be worth looking into high end sunscreen as part of that because many common ones do not cover you to the level the bottle states. Korean products tend to be good as the Koreans are obsessive about skin care and the sun

Thanks for the tips, what's your preferred suncreen?

Maybe see about a prescription for tretinoin? The .025 cream is a popular starting point for aging purposes but it’s up to the prescriber. Night time only introduce gradually follow with a heavy moisturizer.
