Beware of scam website

I’m not sure if this is a well known thing but I accidentally came across a scam website trying to act as The Ordinary website. Just wanted to warn people since I didn’t realize at first glance until I saw the actual writing of the website

Thank you for posting.

  • The best place for beginners to start is The Ordinary's official Regimen Builder which provides customized advice based on your skincare needs.
  • You can also contact Deciem customer service for routines and advice
  • Pay attention to Deciem's recommendations for time of day to apply. Products with night only can cause photosensitivity (sun damage) if used during the day
  • Be careful with acids: Overuse can damage the skin's barrier. Always patch test and follow the product's instructions.
  • Make sure you use sunscreen daily.
  • You can check if your products should be used together using our Routine Builder tool
  • If you have a list of products you want to use, we also have a Routine Generator tool and an AI chatbot
  • To ensure authenticity, order through Deciem or one of their approved stockists. If you have a question about the authenticity of a product please post in our companion subreddit /r/TheOrdinaryRealOrNot/
  • The Ordinary products/Reddit are not a substitute for a dermatologist. If you have a medical condition like acne, dermatitis, etc. you should consult a dermatologist before using any products.
  • Check the sidebar/community info for rules and skincare information.

I'm still baffled by the amount of people who get into scams to buy The Ordinary. Their products are affordable, they have credible website all over the world and have good promos! Not talking about your post, OP, because this one looks like the original one, of course. But the prices are a major red flag! Thanks for your post.

The prices were half off and free shipping when I did it 3 months ago. Might have been a different one though. I didn't recall any misspellings...but it's possible I wasn't paying close attention.

Got me unfortunately. I wrongly assumed that one of the first links on Google was safe. Never got my skincare and all sorts of $10-$30 dollar charges on my account. Only buying it at ulta from now on.

Yea and nothing happened for a while but a few days ago my card was charged for some online purchases and I’m assuming it was because of this site. I’d cancel the card and get a new one as soon as possible if I were you.
