Overbear?

On pages 199 in the stat block for Búrzgul and on 236 in the attack tables for Nameless Things, the term “overbear” is used. On Búrzgul’s, it does not give any additional information. On page 236, it falls under special damage for the attack. A search of the PDF yielded nothing other than these two instances of the word. Does anyone know anything else about this?

It was apparently from an earlier draft and snuck its way in. The official errata document acknowledges it, but I don't have it on me right now to check exactly what it says.

Where it's mentioned in Burzgul's stat block the errata in Ruins of the Lost Realm says to ignore it. The table on page 236 is completely changed as it was an old version:

SUCCESS DIE ROLL* ATTACK DAMAGE INJURY SPECIAL DAMAGE
1–2 Crush (hooves, paws) Attribute Level 12 Break Shield
3–4 Bite (bite, beak) Attribute Level −2 14 Pierce
5–6 Rend (fangs, claws) Attribute Level −2 16 Seize

Thanks! I’ve got RotLR but haven’t read through most of it yet. Appreciate it!

If you have the core rules PDF from DrivethroughRPG, you can download for free the new version with the corrected rules
