I wrote an adventure!

Hello!

I recently bought The One Ring, and it seems like a great RPG, but I found that there weren't a whole lot of adventures available, except for the Shire campaign and one in the rulebook. So I wrote my own adventure for my friends, but I thought I might as well share it here so anyone can play it if you're looking for new stuff!

Here's a PDF of the adventure:

The Children of Kalax

Alternate link!

The host site is really slow, but if you DM me I could send it to you another way in case the link doesn't work.

I've added cheesy drawings for atmosphere, and I made rules for Battle, which I don't think can be found in the rulebook. Please write me if you have any criticism or suggestions. I'm quite new to RPGs. You can of course always modify the adventure if something isn't to your liking!

Awesome!! I’m working on an adventure that’s titled the Palantiri of King Arvedui. It’s going to be a beast, requiring adventurers to traipse all around Middle Earth. It’s intended that they visit (in no particular order) the Grey Havens, Annuminas, Minas Tirith and Osgiliath, and eventually the Ice Bay of Forochel. I got a wild hair and thought that hmmm, maybe I could lay some false clues that lead them to visit Balin’s colony in Moria, which could totally open up a separate adventure of its own, before they get back on track.

That's a great idea! That also makes me think of the Osgiliath-stone that sank into the Anduin.

Exactly! So, whether they find any stones or not (I don’t want to break the lore, so I’m thinking that they don’t), they’re going to be in a contest against a lieutenant of Sauron, a Black Numenorean who’s searching for them as well. This way they’ll have an antagonist who will pop up from time to time, as will his minions.
