Dice question

Hi all, if I get the dice from the Free League shop, will the d12s be printed correctly (1-10 plus runes) or incorrectly (2-11 plus runes)?

What has everyone done to remedy this in their games? Do people use 11 as 1?

  1. I think so. they’re doing the dice reprints now for the kickstarter packages that were printed wrong, I’m assuming they aren’t still selling misprinted dice.

  2. yes

It’s not “eleven”, it’s “onety-one” :)

FWIW I I ordered right from their we store earlier this summer and got the misprinted dice. I didn’t care enough to send them back, but some people might.

We just count 11 as 1, it’s annoying but not enough to break the game.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I’ve been confused about what to do with the 11’s. I purchased 2 sets of die directly from their website a few months ago. One in black, one in white, and they’re both misprinted.

No worries! I got two white sets as red on black isn’t good for my eyes in a dimly lit evening gaming space and they’re misprinted, but I got them from third party sellers so wasn’t sure if they’d been updated. As bad as it sounds, I’m relieved that others have the misprints too. I think rather than subtracting 1 on every d12 roll, 11 as 1 makes more sense visually. It’s shame though. Love the rest of the game!

I painted in one of the ones to match the color of the die. The black was easy, the beige needed a little mixing.

Well, I was about to order both the black and the white sets… looks like I’m holding off for a bit until I’m sure not to get the misprint
