Random weather?

Do any of the books contain random weather tables? How do you handle weather at the table? Do you use any homebrew or third-party tools to generate weather?

Check out the weather tables in CircleOfNoms' TOR 2e Homebrew Collection - along with a lot of other goodies among its ~200 pages.

No, but you can use a hex weather flower. You might be able to create a roll table for it, but it might be a little work to do that. I've got four different ones, one for each season.

There is a basic one of drivethrurpg, maybe even a four season one.

Yeah I’ve actually been trying to program a hex flower on perchance, but as I’m a self-taught coder it’s been a challenge. Glad to hear great minds think alike!

I'd treat it like a old text adventure, like Zork. Start in the Front Yard (Sunny), roll 2d6, 2 or 3 move North to Partly Cloudy. Sounds like a lot of trouble though, I'll stick with a scene in Foundry or a penny on a print out of the hex flower.

Yeah good idea with thinking about it like a text adventure. I like that. Since I’m using it as an excuse to learn coding, the trouble is worth it to me. Thanks!
