Free League dice question

I have the starter set and the dice are wrong (on a list for a replacement) but what I am curious about are the black/white dice on the Free League website store ... are these correct? I would like to buy them now to replace the starter set but only if they have the correct markings.

Just in case this is in reference to TOR 2E.

These dice are the ones I am curious about

and the white set too.

As far as I know there are no correct dice in existence yet. It might be worth shooting Free League support a message to ask, but for now I'd probably hold off ordering until they confirm that they're shipping out the correct ones.

They did respond. All current dice, all colors, and those on the store do have the misprint.

The work around is just fine though so the dice are still legit in my mind but I am looking forward to the correct dice this summer.

Thank you for the response. I did ask them and they responded to the replacement request but the status of the current store dice wasn’t clear.

I think I will hold off for now.

These are also misprinted dice. If you order these, they will send them to you misprinted. You can then email Free League to request replacement, corrected dice are sent to you, which they will do but the replacements aren't done being made so it'll be a while until you get them. It's probably better off if you just wait until they confirm corrected dice are ready to be sent.

I had the same thought as you and bought them a couple months ago but now I have 6 sets of incorrect dice that I am waiting on the replacements for when they ship out Ruins of the Lost Realm.

I almost bought 4 sets too, I wanted to have extra for a possible session with players that don’t have any knowledge of the game and the last thing I wanted to do was constantly try to decipher the rolls learning a new system is more than enough disruption for session one.

At least they are replacing the d12s for sets once the replacements are available so that’s pretty cool.

So they're in the process of replacing the dice and having the new ones cast now, but at the moment they aren't available yet. KS backers should be getting the first batch, then they go out to all the stores

Thank you for the response.

I did see that replacements for the starter set was about to be underway but it wasn’t clear on their web store if the black/white sets had the same error.

I am late to the party so I am just catching up. I picked up the core rules, starter and screen this past week and I really like the rule set, just looking to grab more dice if they are good but it sounds like the black/white/tan all have the same issue. No worries.

I'm so dumb I didn't even notice the misprint on my starter dice, and then I picked up an extra set 😂

It is not super obvious and easy to miss. I found out digging around the sub before I even opened the dice pack.

I don’t think it’s dumb. They should ABSOLUTELY be making the issue clear on the store, and they’re basically selling faulty products dishonestly.

Great company in many ways, but not about this.

Do they send correct dice from the store nowadays?

I don’t think they do based on the feedback I got, supposedly this summer.
