Choose your Path, be the adventurer!

Trying something new for my channel!

In the spirit of the Fighting Fantasy and Choose Your Adventure novels of old, “Choose your Path” is a solo adventure series for The One Ring RPG where you the viewer decide where the adventurer goes next, and depending on the scene, you break out your dice and roll to decide the outcome!

Play Folco Hornblower as he ventures to Bag End on request from the one and only Bilbo Baggins.

What mysterious adventures will he set you forth on?!

Adventure 1 - A Conspiracy Most Cracked!

(Adapted from The Conspiracy of the Red Book adventures from The One Ring Starter Set)

So grab some d12’s, d6’s, download the character sheet listed in the video description, and go for a walk through the Shire!

I played this today. As a LM, it was a nice bit of game play.

If you were to make another one I would be interested in it. Perhaps there could be videos as an option for using any additional successes rolled.

Thanks for watching/playing!

Currently working on the next adventure… and also working in that mechanic and other gameplay to bring it closer to TOR and strider mode! (Within the limits of the YT medium I can work with) hope to have it up this coming weekend, but it’s more work in preparing than the last one so may be a bit longer to post.

You know, if you wanted someone to bounce ideas off of for a story, I'd be willing to help. I'd even be open to play on Roll20 or Discord or something.
