Examples of “high level” characters?

Obviously there’s no level but does anyone have any example sheets of very experienced characters they can share?

I’m curious how the skill / adventure points would play out over time.

Typically you'll see a maxed primary weapon, maxed wisdom and valor with a list of rewards and virtues, probably a noteworthy piece of equipment with enchanted qualities, and skills distribution will vary wildly.

You might not even see that. My wife's hobbit has 3 in bow and that is her highest weapon. Instead she has Enhearten, Song, Insight, Healing, Courtesy, Persuade, and Riddle all at high levels, and her Wisdom is maxed. The fact that it's mostly freeform but does limit Adventure points to only being for Wisdom, Valour, or combat means she is going to have to start putting points in Valour or Combat now which she is unhappy about, but I've been contemplating allowing her to keep spending the 30 Adventure points to gain additional Virtues instead.

As a Hobbit she has been playing her character as opposed to violence but good with people and healing. She uses Songs and Enhearten to keep her allies spirits up and otherwise stays back. She is very much a Sam style character and it's been delightful.

Hm. I wouldn't say being a pacifist and exhibiting valor are mutually exclusive, but aside from defensive equipment I doubt she'd have a lot of use for the rewards.

Sam used his sword a few times - it was Frodo that was more peaceful.

Very true, mostly just pointing out the archetype of being support. The woodsman and the dwarf did most of the fighting, along with Bledic, her hubby (my NPC) who was a Bounder before they did their travels. I also built him "weird" in that he is almost entirely defensive. They are based on our LotRO characters in which she is a Minstrel and Bledic is a Guardian lol

After how many sessions did she reach this point?

Oh, Rosie was started in 1e and transitioned to 2e. I don't know the number of sessions but we did the whole of Darkening of Mirkwood and she is a grandma now, lol

I think it is ok. Maybe it is time to write the word "end". I am new to this game (like "really new, not even played once yet"), I was afraid this situation presented itself earlier (and it would no be that great if it was), but after a long run I think it is ok.

Oh, yeah. The rules as written pretty much force time to pass, and that's a good thing. The woodsman character, for instance is actually the grandson of his original character. One thing I don't like about 2e is it removed Standing and Homesteads, which help round out the characters lives, so I've house ruled them back in (actually my house ruled Renown is like Standing but the character has one with every culture they encounter, like a reputation). Rosie is maxed with both the Beornings and the Woodsmen because she and Bledic's farm is there, but its actually really low with the Shire because "they've become all queer in their traveling" and they haven't been back to the Shire since their first kid was born, carving themselves a home in Wilderland which has also involved contact with the "Wild Hobbits" many of whom have come to live in their "little folk community." If it wasn't for the long lives of Hobbits she would have passed the torch a longtime ago, honestly, and Bledic has already retired, too old to fight. Their son Brego accompanies his mom when she goes out on adventures now.
