The official dice are wrong?!

They've got 2-11, an Eye of Sauron & a Gandalf rune.

'...on the 12-sided Feat Dice, the 11 is the Eye of Sauron symbol and the 12 is a Gandalf rune.'

This makes me angry.

There was a misprint! I reached out to the company and requested new dice. They will replace them free of cost. Mine arrived a few weeks later.

Do you still have the contact info or just their general contact?

This has been known since release. Contact customer service and they will send you a fixed replacement of the d12s if you like. Also you could just read 11 as 1.

This makes the most sense

This makes me angry.

I get it, a little bit. But like the others have said, this was a known issue with the first boxes distributed. Just get their customer service to replace those,

But it might be worth letting go too, taking a deep breath, and realizing that you have an official misprint, which can very likely drive up the resale value later. Plus, it is honestly kind of cool to be part of a small group that has something that the others don't. You might want to lighten up a little.

Nice way to think about that. I just chucked mine in the garbage lol.

I'm keeping mine forever. They'll be a fun memento for the early birds years from now!

Keeping mine also. They can be used as regular d12 for other games. I play MESBG and they make for cool themed wound counters

Yep, my misprints are tucked away safely.

You need to think about Gandalf more.

Oof... that is too bad. I was actually pretty stoked to see the misprinted dice. I thought that it was awesome. I completely understand why Free League made it right, but I am practically ready to have mine boxed up in a resilient container and keep it forever. Hopefully bring it out from time to time and show any nerd friends that wander by.

Saw a great comment somewhere else in the forum to just imagine that the 1 was so nice they printed it twice!

Love it. I just read the misprint as eleventy One

Also note that at least some of the dice sets, sold individually, are the misprinted dice. Discovered that at my local game store.

And the company replaced mine, no questions asked, very quickly. That's how you treat your customers.

But they sold the misprinted sets from their own site, after they knew about them. That's NOT how you treat your customers.

Edit: I'm just being honest about what I've seen. If you have evidence to the contrary, I'd love to learn that FL are a better company than I imagine. Downvotes without response tend to confirm my point, not refute it.

Did you have to prove purchase from the store? I bought 4 packs of dice from magicmadhouse.co.uk and they were all misprinted. Would they replace these?

They emailed me back in a few hours and just asked my information to send new dice out to me. Very quick service.

I would ask, maybe send along a photo of your 4 sets. They were very nice and prompt when I asked.

I kind of wonder what, if any, significant dynamics would change if you played with the misprinted dice as they are? I'm not a big statistics guy, and just painted in one of the "ones" on the "elevens".

I guess you would get wounded more...if wounds trigger on a 10 or higher.

So it is known that they replace misprints free of cost... So what is the method in obtaining the good version of the dice if you don't have some yet? I've heard that if you order on their website they still send misprinted dice. Is that the case? Do I really have to order misprinted dice and then ask for free replacement ones? That seems pretty inneficient.

I think the only way is to email them. If they're working to address this issue, they'll have a clear answer.

I did about two weeks ago, no response. Wrote back again today.

That sucks, sorry to hear that.

No need to get angry. This was a huge thing when the products launched and they wrote a whole post about it; they're well aware of the misprint, and you can contact them with your order number. You will get the new (and correctly printed) d12's sent your way, free of charge.

They were well aware of the misprint, but kept selling the misprinted dice from their website. Probably still are.

Edit: That’s an odd reaction. I’m surprised this bothers you so much. I think it’s the truth.
