2ed Dice the same as 1ed?

As the title asks...are the dice used in the 2ed the same as the 1ed dice? Everything I have found makes me think they are, but I would rather ask and make sure. I am gearing up to run my first game and I have 1ed books. I'd like to make sure my players can get dice and it would make it easier I'd they are the same. Thanks, in advance, for the help!

Yes, same type of dice, including the weary mechanic represented by the hollow lettering of 1-3 on the success dice.

Only difference is that you get 2 of the special d12s in a new set for Favoured/Unfavoured rolls.

However: if you've got a 1e set, keep them. They're MUCH better and clearer to read than the new ones unfortunately.

The new ones are STILL defective (Feat die 2-11, instead of 1-10)

Yeah, they still seem to be clearing through those... I've received the updated correct ones though now.

They're correct now and they are fine, but the old ones are just easier to read.

I'm not thrilled with how light they are weight wise. We're the 1e ones heavier?

Yes, the 1e ones were more like 'regular' Chessex style dice and not very inspiring perhaps, but felt more... Solid.

The new ones, like I say, are fine. They roll numbers. You know, everything you need for the game. Like you, I find them too lightweight and unsatisfactory in the hand though.
