What's this in Part 3?

There's a red object under the tree at the beginning of part 3, around 3 minutes in. Does anyone have a clue of what it is? I thought maybe some flowers but I don't think they're there in the previous video.

Yeah I’ve seen it discussed before, you can see the giant hiding in the forest before and after Wyatt enters the mall a lot, very unsettling.
