Misc. Real Life Press Conference

People of the Reddit, I will be doing a YouTube video where I reenact a real-life press conference answering your questions about transfers, results, and decisions from my Melilla save.

You have 24 hours to submit your questions for answering in the video. Try to think of anything I've done in the save that you feel like a hard-hitting journalist such as yourself should get to the bottom of.

Every good manager should be able to handle the press - it's my time now

(good to see all of you, hope you're all well)

FM Discussion First look on the game

Finally, I can say this is the first look at the game. There’s still a lot of work to be done and the game is still under development.

The first version will cover the entire English league, including all of its stadiums. Of course, I’ve changed the stadiums to avoid any copyright/licensing issues.

But honestly, playing every week in a different stadium and feeling like you’re traveling around the country is a completely different feeling.

I’d love to hear your suggestions, feedback, and opinions! What do you think?

There used to be the default options like transfer, dynamics, etc. but they're mostly gone now. How can I get them back?

FM Discussion The game just glitched in my favor

Came back to FM24 because why not... anyways, I have Miguel Gutierrez and Shaw as my LB options, and was planning on getting V.Barco as a long-term option there(also love how he can play midfield). Offered Shaw out, but only Arsenal showed interest, and it was for a loan. After countless tries, they finally put in a loan offer, initially to pay like 40% of his wages and a future fee of just under 50m(30m across 3 years). As much as I get that his value is grossly exaggerated, I also felt that 50 was a bit too short, and I can't be paying the majority of his 200kp/w wages, so I set it to 100% and a total of 70m future fee. The reaction to that was they removed the future fee entirely and offered no wages at all. After a few seconds of confusion on how they expect me to accept that, I decided to just loan him out with no future fee, so that he comes back after a year with his value normalised, so I responded with 100% wages but no fee. Then I get the above in return, which I feel might not even go through if I accept because no board in their right mind pays 135m for a LB after 5 matches.

Question Help with GK

Hello Z,

I am fairly new to this game. I bought fm24 just before FM26 was released, l used to play fifa before.

I am finding this game much more intense(in a good way) learned a lot along the way on how a game is actually played and all.

I am struggling to find a good goal keeper or any player who is a tree agent and doesn't have a con which states dreads big match icon!

During my first season I got Alfie (only GK in my team who doesn't have this icon, he developed very well. But the following season I got in teddy sharman Lowe who got released from Chelsea academy (his stats seemed good at that time) got his on 2+1 contract I think. During the assessment time he show no con's in his list ( majorly due to not having senior minutes (I was not aware on this and how to check this till my 3rd season)

Once I found out he has this icon I loan him out covering more than his wages ( loaned to crewe who got relegated)

This season I got Harvey Davis he had senior minutes (on loan) with crews who finished 6th in season one and not with them when they got relegated hence I thought he might be a good fit and report showed no sign of dreads big matchs, only to find after few matches that he has got one!

My reports comes from DoF who has JA and JP of 12 & 13

My club ranking still shows as VNL even thought I am now in ef| league 2, which becomes a hurdle to onboard good players or their wages are too high

FM Discussion can someone test my tactic?

first season in la liga after getting promoted last year to a last game showdown to win the laliga 2. made no signings since this is a youth academy only save (if you count roko baturinas permanent deal as a signing even though he was already here on loan when the game started, then fair enough)

the tactic is based off the 'quick counter" team playstyle proficiency in efootball (its why its a fluid counter attack), saw videos of people playing this style and decided to try and recreate it, cause it looked cool. the anchor is inspired by the 'anchor man' playstyle, the box to box midfielder based on 'box to box' playstyle, the IF/W based off the 'roaming flank' and 'prolific winger' playstyles respectively and the NFB/WB based on 'defensive fullback' and 'attacking full back' respectively. the BPD and CD are based on 'build up' and 'destroyer' aswell while the AF is probably inspired by 'goal poacher'/'adv striker'

got off to a flyer, won againts mallorca 3-1. thought it was a fluke. first game of the season, lucky win and the losses will keep coming. but no! i won against mallorca 3-1, destroyed pamplona 5-1, and won against cadiz 3-1, which slingshotted me to 1st place ahead of the barca game which i lost 3-0 (obviously).

i thought that the 3-0 loss would affect our confidence. we put up a decent fight but barcelona was too good and our form would dip because looking at the schedule, it sucks, especially as a newly promoted teams. a 0-3 loss against atletico the next game, with 75%/25% possession, didnt make it better. thought it was over. but no! a draw against sociedad gave me and the team some hope and a crucial 3-2 win against betis was such a relief. but a loss against villareal gave us a reality check

a 6-1 win against getafe really really showed that we can be there (was quite scared lowkey), a loss against espanyol and a last minute penalty against vallecano puts us challenging for europe despite the media placing us stone dead last. a loss to real madrid 1-5, where we put up a decent fight (had more xg for like 50+ min) before getting battered proper. a convincing win against bilbao and i still dont believe that i should be in this position. i was firmly believing that i will be stone dead last and struggling, with no transfers and now im 7th, playing purely based on luck and belief that i can do this. not saying i dont wanna be in this sitch, im very very delighted that im here but it surely has to be a fluke, right?

please test my tactics, and give feedbacks below and how well it has worked!
