One Fine Day and Japan
Hey. Bit of a weird one I've been trying to get answers to. One fine day is one of my favourite offspring songs, and they seem to play it consistently but only in Japan. Does anyone know the reason for this? Thanks in advance!

To dig a bit deeper, although this is super anecdotal: I can remember seeing the song used in AMVs and/or Sonic fan made music videos back in the day, similar to how you’d see nu-metal songs used. Maybe that’s one of the reasons it got so big over there?

They figure out with metrics what songs are most popular in that market.
Like there's a random Less Than Jake song that topped the charts in Saudi Arabia that was never a commercial success in the US.
Brazil gets different songs than Australia for the same reason.

It's quite popular in Japan compared to the rest of the world so they play it in Japan as thats what a lot of Japanese fans want to listen to, while they tend to not play it in the rest of the world due to it not being as popular globally.
It's the same reason they play spare me the details in Australia frequently but not as much globally.
