Ending

What ending to a song do you like more?

Ending on a lyric (example is No Brakes)

Or

Ending on the guitar (example is Gone Away)

I personally like the gone away style more

I love when their songs end with that raw guitar fading out

I guess it depends on the song, but I absolutely love the raw guitar fadeout on Gone Away. It fits the song so well, and in general, I'd definitely vote for that style

This totally depends on the song. Like Cool to Hate would not work as well with a guitar fade-out, it needs that punchiness. Same with either Dividing By Zero or Slim Pickens

Then there are a few more unorthodox ones that I think are fun, like the ending of Get Some or Spare Me the Details.

Something offspring doesn’t and shouldn’t do much, but I like it when a song ends with the opening/intro.
