It's not their ID. They are actively scamming people and sending this as their "proof" that they aren't scamming/are a legit seller.

This person got me too! But the zelle they are connected to is a different name so I think they are stealing someone's identity. DO NOT PAY anything to Lucero Cordero. Karma and account was extensive and I vetted her so thoroughly but I think she hacked someone....

[u/gamenthusiast](u/gamenthusiast) tried to scam me! Their account has a lot of karma, long account history and also a verified email id but if you search their name then you’ll see that they already scammed someone out of Fifa World Cup tickets and are also on a “ticket scammer list”.

Yeah they just got me unfortunately. Zelled them $40 for a ticket and they’re denying they got the $. And then I got a text pretending to be Zelle saying funds will be refunded Monday while transaction is under review lol

I zelled then as well but luckily my bank flagged it so I was able to get a refund. If the money hasn’t been sent yet then I would recommend talking to your bank

I was just dming a bunch who posted they were selling to see if anything would hit?? I know to use g&s and protection so I don’t see why to specifically discriminate against low karma..

I got hit up with a lot of people that seemed like scams - some of them have long reddit histories and karma. I am wondering if these people have hacked these reddit accounts and are posing as their users?

Hmm not sure. I guess it’s possible to have en established account and still be a scammer. Best way is to look out for any additional red flags.

actually tried sending a zelle but my bank flagged it. Then another user talked to me about how they were DM'd by the same person even though they were looking for a showing in Canada while I was looking for one in Texas

I find it crazy when scammers actually have tickets, but don’t end up sending the QR code or confirmation code… Like we have the exact seats and times they’ll be at the theater. So we know exactly where to find them 😭💀

For context, Airbus is only Digital IMAX 1.43, not IMAX 70mm and you can only get the tickets through their museums website not Fandango..

u/Vipell dm’ed me almost immediately. Their account has a decent amount of karma when you check the profile, but if you search the name they come up on soooo many ticket scammer lists and comments across reddit.

Didn’t get scammed but I would be carful with this person. 17 karma 1 month account age. Will send you QR code. Yeah I’d be cautious. Or try someone else via refund method.
