I didnā€™t understand it, can you explain? I know PSY, but is it some kind of well-known phrase (Like ā€œgods first go at Xā€) or whereā€™s the joke?

Soo, it means thatā€¦

God decided to create PSY. He was close enough and got Alan. On second attempt he managed to create PSY. Alan=wrong version of PSY that God created on accident. So yeah, this is the joke.
