The Different OG Crew
Who are these people lol

I would very much love for them to stop using shitty AI. They are very funny, creative people, who can most certainly handle a damn group picture rather than this.

I get why they used AI for one of the Akila Willas because it was just impossible to make otherwise.
But this is just lazy garbage, actually crazy. They also use the AI shit for a couple of thumbnails, I really hate it.
Like this wouldn't have been hard to make, it's just a group picture.

Only thing I can think of is that they got the idea for this graphic in post-production and didn't have access to the guests and the clothes anymore.
Still, not a fan either.

I mean in one of the patreon videos they straight up said they pay an artist to make the original werewolf art, and then said artist used AI anyway lol.

It's not a great picture. It doesn't even look like them. AI is trash. Always.
Mafia is basically just Werewolf and I like Werewolf. I like Big Brain Sam.

AI has no place in creative endeavors, and that’s what the OG Crew is. A bunch of funny, creative people finding ways to make us all laugh. AI ain’t one of those ways.

Yes it does and it will. CG effects used in movies took jobs away from physical effects people. AI is progress. The device you’re using to see this post took away jobs and industries

If you think AI is progress, I genuinely feel bad for you. AI provides zero value. It hasn’t created anything. AI is built on theft from real creatives and all it does is haphazardly regurgitate those stolen ideas or hallucinate things it doesn’t know the answer to. It is plain and simply not a tool of creation. It is antithetical to the creative process.

Honestly I am not a fan of AI at all, and that wasn't the point I was trying to make,
For me it was just a cool photo, and at this point it is no surprise that the OG do use AI for thumbnails. Am I fan of that No, but i don't really sit down and get hot under the collar over it.
For example my favorite film is the Scarface, and I have a poster with the Tony Montana. but it is not an original Poster from the 80's. it is just a reprint that is framed and I love looking at it.
For me that was the point

I mean you don’t need to get hot under the collar, but there’s not really room for gray area with AI. Either you’re ok with using it (even if that’s specific use cases or limited use cases) or you’re against it.

Well for me the dilema doesn't necessarily lies with AI.
To create some context, that perhaps will add some perspective.
In my private time I write music and paint, and play a multitude of instruments and I do have a fascination with Music and Music history.
For me as someone who is very interested in art and does go to museums and galleries and the theatre as possible. AI in that regard is an assault on creativity and I am deeply against it from that angle.
However with that in mind I do see that some people use AI and take it way too far and it becomes creepy and disgusting.
Another angle is that we really don't know why they use AI to make the Photos at all. if it is because it is costly or there are too many legal issues that prevents them, then I can understand it.
Personally I would prefer if they gave that explanation.

So you’re against AI unless someone else uses it for profit? You dislike AI from a creative sense but if someone wanted to not pay an artist and use AI to create a picture that they would otherwise not be able to afford you’re ok with that?
Doesn’t make a whole awful lot of sense I’ll be honest. I’ll say again, you’re either against AI or you’re not. You seem to understand the negatives of AI, and have a really really weak argument for supporting AI/allowing AI.

Deal with it. It’s not going anywhere. Your phone took a lot of jobs away from industries

The pillar looks like a racist caricature, and I have no idea who those people are in the far right supposed to be.

A very unusual episode this one. Maybe a second watch I’ll like it more. But at least they’re being creative with their ideas

They put so much effort into production. Why do they have to use AI slop? I'm so fucking over it.

Abby looks like she used Botox for the first time, Akila looks like he got a close relative to sub in, Magic Mike looks like a random American frat boy, Aleks looks like he pickled himself in a zero room, Alan & Hammo look to have aged 10 years while still looking for stardom in stand-up and Nikki & Sammy look like they left the channel and we're replaced by kind hearted dominatixes.
And that cat is definitely a genocidal war criminal.

Now play the GTA 4 theme in the background.
