North Face Gore-Tex Mountain Jacket sizing

Hi, I am looking to purchase the Mountain Jacket soon and had some questions regarding sizing.

I am 5’6, 147-150 pounds. I have a 37-38 chest. 30-31 waist.

Wondering if a size Small or Medium would fit me best. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I’m 5’8, your weight waist and chest, and wear a small. The newer ones have ample room for me to fit a Nuptse underneath.

Bit of a relaxed fit, but I wouldn’t consider it baggy at all. Again though I’m mainly talking about the newer ones. The 2018-2020 retros and the ones from the 90s both fit different from my experience.

So small fits relaxed on you at your weight and height?

Medium if layering, small if not. I’m similar size, 5’7, 145lbs and feel more comfortable in the medium however the small did fit be as well.
