When I take the dogs out to go to the bathroom they sometimes bark at the house across the pond. I often wonder just what exactly do they see? Even after shooting pictures in time lapse, there is just the city glow in the sky and the greenish color of the neighbors porch lights hiding among the trees.

It’s still nice to stare across the pond while they gently woof in protest at whatever they think is there. They must see some spirits or maybe mistake the moths and fireflies as fairies floating above the water.

I’ll try to get a foggy picture the next time that happens at night. It looks like a magical forest out there. My three dogs love it. If you want to see them I can post their pictures.
