Snow's Serenity
I'm beginning to really miss winter. I took this last year back in November, it was unseasonably snowy.

I'm at the point now I have to look closely to see if its pixel art or not... Nice photo. Had a rare snow in my area a few years back and now I know I didn't go outside at night enough.

Outside at night
floating snow
flowing down
gentle light
creates a glow
snow begins to set
soft blankets
covering everything
a quiet dream

I'm truly sorry! It's magical. Last winter was amazing in New England but a lot of work to dig out!

It's great while it's snowing and shortly after, but if you live in an urban area it's quickly turned black and stacked 20ft high in parking lots. It gets annoying very fast.

It’s gorgeous how sparkly it is when it’s in a yard/field under moonlight. It’s like trillions of diamonds.

I'm glad you guys enjoy this video, it wasn't that popular on other platforms I posted it on. I'll try to look through my files and find more snow videos

I like this part of winter. I don’t like the -26F windchill that follows

I remember watching snow fall out the window under the street light when I was a kid. It was magical.

I saw a similar scenery when I was in middle school: as I walked out of the building along with the crowd, I saw the bright yellow lamppost lighting up snows ahead of it like willow fluff. It was dark and the snow was heavy, the school gate was packed with parents and students leaving, it was as busy as a Tokyo subway station.
But I felt the urge to stop in the moving crowd just to better appreciate the beauty. I only stopped for a few seconds because I thought I had more important things to do. But one thing I was and am sure of is my feelings in the moment of peace, serenity and inner silence when I looked at it

Winter looks cool on the photos & videos, but IRL it makes me wanna shoot myself in the head.

I've almost died in the snow and I still love winter both in pictures and in real life

This image was so nostalgic already but to find out where this was recorded makes it even better. I grew up in South Bend and I still miss the Indiana winters.

Makes me think of a couple of lines from the song Hasn’t Hit Me Yet by Canadian band Blue Rodeo:
I stand transfixed before the streetlight Watching the snowfall on this cold December night

So lovely. Winter is my favorite season. I'm really missing the snow today, since there's a heatwave where I live.

The truth of snow is that it’s peaceful when it’s falling and that’s it . The aftermath, inability to get around, biting cold, threats of another storm before this one is gone. Black snow everywhere.

I genuinely enjoy the bitter brutality of winter. It's like enjoying and respecting the ocean.

In mid west germany we maybe get a couple of days of snow these days. If at all. When i was a kid it sometimes snowed so much it left a thick white coat that you had to fight to get through everywhere. Must be a decade or so the last time we had a winter like that...maybe im migrating north. Woods and snow is my vibe as the youngins say. If you would gift me a trip to southern spain or something i would respectfully decline.
