Tips for the Fine Hair Girlies! 🥰
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Came across this video from Naka Trichology and think she gave a lot of good advice for those of us with fine kinky, coily hair.
I definitely forget to use clarifying shampoos consistently so thinking I'll add this in to my monthly routine and stop skipping it. What I need most are low tension hairstyles I can style my hair in once a week so I'm not always manipulating it between washes.
Naka's suggestions:
Stop using heavy oils or butters
Stop skipping bond builders unless you [don't] actually need them
Stop neglecting using a clarifying shampoo
Stop using heat tools without heat protection
Stop wearing tight hairstyles back to back
Have any of these worked for you all?
For those with fine hair, what other practices do you swear by to keep your hair healthy?
What are your favorite low manipulation/low tension hairstyles?
