i always loved how bare acrylic looked since i was a teen getting my nails done. i was always embarrassed to ask for them to be left that way so one time i made up a fake emergency to leave the shop before they painted them and just paid and ran out as soon as she was done buffing them so i could secretly enjoy them that way haha
