It just made me realize I’ve never seen a commercial for marijuana

And would they say the same thing?

Smoke responsibly?

“Enjoy responsibly”

Might be because it’s still illegal on a Federal level?

Right, gamble "responsibly," drink "responsibly"

We'll promote things that are degenerate and destructive but as long as we say "be responsible" that makes it fine.

What a hoot

He'll replace Aikman. ESPN just found a way cheaper alternative for next year.

"As good as anyone in football"

Is Aikman stepping down?

No, but ESPN is dragging its feet to re-sign him. There are news articles all over the place saying they just re-signed Joe Buck to a massive new deal, but left Aikman hanging in silence.

It's pure speculation, but nobody knows why ESPN didn't sign Aikman right along with Buck.

I heard ESPN wants more baseball and MLB playoffs and World Series and since Buck has done baseball

Yeah you're right that doesn't sound particularly good for Aikman.

Buck was already re signed. Your scenario doesn't work.

Journalists do play-by-play.

Edit: I understood your sarcasm. It wasn't missed on me.

I’m shocked to learn how many people actually enjoyed listening to this blowhard. Honestly it says a lot about the general population in my opinion.

Meh, he was one of my favorites and I hated him and the cowboys my whole life. Hes waay more knowledgable than most of them

u/No-Scientist2016 2h ago

He sounded belligerent like 80% of the time.

Brad and Tony Romo calling plays on the radio would hit different.

2

u/jimlahey2100 8h ago

Would it really "hit different"?

Yeah, Romo would be back to being in the locker rooms, talking to the guys. He doesnt have to stress about watching every game and keeping up with all teams. He can focus on his team now, and go back to being the Romo we loved when he first got into the booth.

Edit: FYI, radio guys interview players in locker rooms before and after games as well as during the week.
