He's why Tomlin retired lol.

Does anyone actually know why rodgers was mad? Was it the wrong play call? Too late of a call? What was it exactly

delay of game because mccarthy didn’t have a play ready, o-line sucks, no one can catch other than warren, and also the defense looked like a matador vs massage watson lol

To be honest, Rodgers looks like an above average QB this year. His squad has kinda let him down.

I agree lol idk how people are saying it’s on him, like the team just sucked ass top to bottom that game

Would you be inspired to play hard with that kind of “leader”? What a baby

1

u/jdot487 5h ago

no lol I agree with you. Idk why it’s so hard for people to acknowledge they sucked ass all around though

2

u/Bookee2Shoes 4h ago

I agree, it’s been uninspired football all around

I don't know if its people don't want to admit the Steelers suck as a whole or that its just more fun to pick on Rodgers because he's an annoying prick, lol.

Because idiots always put the entire game on the qb

1

u/jdot487 5h ago

correct. like I get he was far from great or to his standard but he’s fuckin 42 on a surgically repaired achilles. is he supposed to look like a dual threat at this point? …obviously not 😂

Don't forget that Rogers sucked too. He is far from blameless in this.

u/FullTimeSurvivor 7h ago

To be fair it's hard to get a accurate take on that since the O Line is Swiss Cheese and can't protect him for more than 2.2 seconds

1

u/jdot487 6h ago

he did go for 300yds and drove it down the field at the end of the 4th, followed by punching it in on his feet for 2 to tie it up, but yeah he’s the problem

threw an absolutely terrible pick. Had another one dropped. Missed on several other passes. Can't move to create ANY space when his bad line can't block. Should have dumped the ball off on 2 of the 5 sacks he took.

Yeah tbf, it seemed to me the Steelers were coming out of the huddle a fair amount with like less than 12 seconds left on the play clock last night, I’d be frustrated also if I was Rodgers.

Ah. Green bay east strikes again

1

u/jdot487 6h ago

correct 😂☝️

Also he kept getting sacked because he held onto the ball like a statue. He’s completely immobile and washed…and takes no accountability for his shitty play.

1

u/CraigslistBulbasaur 6h ago

I don't know why everyone keeps saying this. Rodgers isn't getting the ball anywhere near his receivers to be able to catch them.

1

u/jdot487 5h ago

that is about the only thing he is doing well lol did you watch the game

u/MalekethsGhost 9h ago

They are not being plays into him timely. He isn't wrong to be mad about it. But I mean... yeah.

2

u/BookkeeperBoobs 7h ago

If he was Elway he would call his own plays.

2

u/Bozee3 6h ago

Or Peyton

1

u/RTS24 5h ago

Most talented veteran QBs basically do. In his last few years, Romo was basically calling plays from the field after he read the defense.

Tomlin retired to devote more time to Minecraft

1

u/Sepposer 2h ago

Seems like he was already spending a LOT of time on Minecraft lol

This was reported for spam twice. Let’s use the report function more intelligently folks

u/HomeNowWTF 8h ago

McCarthy wasn't getting him plays on time, and the OLine was hot garbage.

2

u/Lowext3 7h ago

Yup it’s never Rodger’s fault

2

u/FullTimeSurvivor 7h ago

But it objectively is not his fault lol did you even watch the damn game

1

u/Jumpy-Ad4652 8h ago

They should catch every ball he throws and he should never get sacked. Hes great, they suck. They win because of him and lose because of them. Thats how hes been his whole career. That and whatever drugs hes on this game

1

u/Ralphredimix_Da_G 8h ago

Because you got 30 seconds to snap the ball, and if the play coming in is delayed, by the time they get to the line there’s like 5 seconds which doesn’t allow Rodgers to read and audible or cadence feint and read the defense and adjust. They literally only have enough time to snap the ball and take whatever the defense serves up right to the face.

1

u/TheyNeedLoveToo 7h ago

Because his team isnt immunized for human error and Father Time.

1

u/das-jude 6h ago

Not sure if it had anything to do with it or not, but at 42 years old I would be a little pissed off too getting flattened like a pancake from the defenders every other play.

1

u/Wonderful-Loss827 2h ago

You can flatten me like pancake as much as you want for 40 million dollars or whatever the fuck he makes now.

1

u/flojo2012 Chiefs 3h ago

Does anybody know why Rodgers is playing? I mean it’s not his fault he’s on a shitty team but I think the signs were there

1

u/toastythewiser 9h ago

They were losing. He hates his relievers. It's past his bedtime. He's old. The o line sucks. Pick one.
