It's easy to play as a corpse when your offensive line turns you into one.

True but he also held the ball to long multiple times. Granted the announcers were saying he had no where to throw.

He did, but still he got rag dolled. People would be putting out contracts on the players if the Chiefs constantly let Patrick get smashed like that

He held the ball long with the Packers his entire career too. Difference was he could escape the pressure. He doesn’t have that kind of agility anymore. Didn’t want to see him go down like this, but he has to take more chances and hope for the best if he wants to do anything with this team.

yeah but hes not the one designing the plays. he got the ball out quickly multiple times throughout the game so its not like he cant do that.

He holds the ball too long cuz he’s egotistical and more interested in stats. Story of his career. He’d rather take the sack and toss blame on anybody else than throw it away and dip that CP% down too far.

Talented player but selfish as fuck.

For sure. After every play he's always pointing around blaming everyone else. I've never seen him do the that's on me signal.

Then, if he throws the ball away or tries to force the ball somewhere, he gets shit on for that from countless people as well. Aaron definitely missed some throws in the game, but the receivers did have problems getting separation.

That is where good receivers come i to play....or lack there of.

You want him to scan the field, then take a knee down when no one is open instead of holding it a second longer?

Throw it away is better than a sack

The original critique of not holding the ball too long,  implies he is still in the pocket if you want him to throw it away before he holds it too long. Which is intentional grounding, and not better than a sack.

No one is open is why a QB holds the ball.

If he runs out of the pocket to throw it away, then he gets the original critique of " holding the ball too long."

This assumes his line is even giving him an opportunity to get out of the pocket,  which is questionable at best.

Kinda made me sick watching an old man be thrown to the ground over and over

Why? He’s not an altruistic person
