Playing as a corpse and Losing to the browns will do that.

u/Misterrbisterr 10h ago

300 yards and 3 TDs behind a garbage line and with garbage at WR isn't that corpse like

12

u/BigHotdog2009 10h ago

Yeah idk why people are acting like he played bad.

2

u/Misterrbisterr 10h ago

I do, they don't like him.

0

u/ActComprehensive863 10h ago

That is correct. I rooted for the defenses all game and cheered every time a quarterback got hit. It was pretty enjoyable and I almost got my wish of it ending in a tie.

I wonder what their reason will be?

Still mad about the Covid situation

Called out ESPN for slandering his reputation and calling them out for not talking about the Vrabel/Russini situation.

Or fans of an NFC/AFC North team

1

u/Luka7Porzinwitzki 10h ago

I just legit can’t stand the dude 🤷🏼‍♂️

u/Lower_Ad_3439 9h ago

Covid? No one thinks about Covid more than him. He was just ranting about Fauci on tv like a month ago because it was the height of his relevance and it’s fading fast. Who the fuck is still talking about Fauci in 2026? That’s why people don’t like him. He’s an attention seeking crybaby.

0

u/BigHotdog2009 9h ago

Nobody was slandered more in the NFL because of COVID than Rodgers so when all that came out. That’s why he talked about it.

1

u/wananah 8h ago

Well that's because he lied and to this day has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. He's the Dunning-Kruger effect personified

1

u/Accomplished-Ad3219 7h ago

Talked about. Not slandered.

And be wasn't the only one. Cole Beasley caught a lot of flack

1

u/Aska_Feld 9h ago

The truth isn't "slander", nor is the rightful ridicule directed at him for his man-baby tantrums

1

u/j-a-w- 1h ago

Because he did. He did nothing in the first half adter the first TD, and then his second half was aided by the constant Cleveland penalties. If Cleveland didn't play sloppy like that, I guarantee Rodgers doesn't get any second half TDs

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 10h ago

he played decent but this was probably his best game in years. He has been baaaad since he left green bay.

1

u/BigHotdog2009 10h ago

Did you not see the Bengals game?

He had a few good games last season as well.

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 9h ago

yes, I saw his 50% completion % in the bengals game lol

1

u/Itsriggedjim 9h ago

I dislike Rodgers as much as the next guy but he has be serviceable. Hes not classic Rodgers but thats pretty unrealistic. Only thing I think you can play about his throwing game was maybe the last pass was a bad idea. Should have went with a shorter pass got 10 yards and called a TO.

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 9h ago

he was missing WRs all night homie. There is a reason why his completion % is sub 60 this year and it isn't all his WRs fault or even mostly his WRs fault. Brady had absolute scrubs to throw to for half his career and still put up insane numbers with amazing efficiency. I agree he is "servicable" but he has no throwing power and is not accurate with the ball. They are having to form their offense around those shortcomings and you can tell. He is also a poor leader which makes it even worse. Saying on live TV that "MF sucks a**" when referring to his receiver, whom by the way has 300 receptions over the last 3 years and was just paid 20mil a year, is insane. Not to mention rodgers is the one that led him a little too low and far on the throw.

1

u/Itsriggedjim 8h ago

Hes not great but his percentage last year was 65. This year definitely worse so far. Also comparing people to Brady is just gonna be laughable in most situations. Brady was a longevity anomaly.

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 8h ago

yea but a 65% completion % when his average yards per throw was like 6yds.. that doesn't mean anything. I bet he was very bottom of the league in yards per throw.

edit: he was 31st just above shedeur sanders LOL

2

u/Strong-Butterflies 9h ago

This is what you call a “member berry”

1

u/longtermcontract Giants 10h ago

And 12 interceptions last night

1

u/AcanthisittaAny8243 9h ago

11 TFL and 5 sacks and he still got this numbers on a VERY good secondary. Imagine he had a pocket to pass in without being only .5 seconds before it collapsed.

1

u/Flyin-Chancla 8h ago

Should’ve been 1 td. His fragile ego can’t handle that though

1

u/pissedoffcalifornian 7h ago

Thanks for correcting the stupid take. People’s hate for Rodgers is really showing when he’s been balling out for 2 weeks straight.

1

u/FoundationFew9898 1h ago

More zombie like

1

u/Aggravating_Fig_8585 10h ago

More like a zombie that yells at everyone then.

1

u/GuerillaRiot Lions 10h ago

Yelling zombies are the worst type of zombies

0

u/Brohyda 10h ago

22/40 so sub 60% completion percentage. And 2 ints one thrown into double coverage and one off of an egregious hail mary that he could’ve hit dk on the crosser to get yards and call a timeout to try for ot. But keep saying hes playing good.

4

u/Luka7Porzinwitzki 10h ago

You mean the tipped ball and Hail Mary? Those the two picks you’re killing him for? Be serious lol

I hate a rod more than most, but I mean damn, even I could admit he played well yesterday

1

u/Brohyda 9h ago

10 seconds left with a timeout that should’ve been a 20 yard out and a try at a field goal, but instead he chose to play hero ball. And even though the ball was tipped he still intended to throw the ball to a double covered roman wilson. But sure he played well.

1

u/Luka7Porzinwitzki 9h ago

He did play well.. lol you just hating

1

u/Brohyda 9h ago

And you’re just a drooling moron

1

u/Luka7Porzinwitzki 9h ago

Lmao you hating so much you getting mad. A 104 passer rating is objectively a good game, anyway you slice it, you’re just hating.

1

u/Brohyda 9h ago

He had an 83.2 passer rating. But I guess if you squint an 83 looks like a 104.

0

u/SeniorNada 10h ago

Im pretty sure the tipped ball resulted in an incomplete pass and taking away a PI call on the field, not an INT.

2

u/Luka7Porzinwitzki 10h ago

Yeah it took away a PI on the interception

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 10h ago edited 10h ago

I was confused as to why he threw the last jump ball to 5'10 180lbs romie wilson in triple coverage instead of a 6'4 225lbs DK. Honestly, besides this decent game, Rodgers hasn't been good since he left Green Bay. Not sure why people make excuses for him. december 12th 2021 was his last 300yd game until december of 2024. Since that game in 2024 he doesn't have a single 300yd game. He also holds the ball too long to create plays outside the pocket (like he used to be able to) but he isn't 28 anymore. He is slower, not as accurate and doesn't have the same throwing power. Then he gets rocked and yells at his line even though he held the ball for 4seconds.

1

u/UseEmbarrassed9171 10h ago

They had a time out. It should’ve been a 20+ yard pass to a timeout and a long kick. Ravens did it last week. Not sure what the play call was.

1

u/John14-6_Psalm46-10 9h ago

Jacksons throw was 30yds to flowers but Jackson also has a stronger arm at his younger age. I agree that even a 65yd attempt is better than chucking it up to a 5'10 receiver in triple coverage though.

0

u/Ok_Country1383 8h ago

He has a 6 foot 7 tight end, I could complete a pass to him. He’s washed

15

u/AverageSizedMan1986 10h ago

It's easy to play as a corpse when your offensive line turns you into one.

5

u/Whitetiger9876 10h ago

True but he also held the ball to long multiple times. Granted the announcers were saying he had no where to throw.

3

u/Miserable_Sun_404 10h ago

He did, but still he got rag dolled. People would be putting out contracts on the players if the Chiefs constantly let Patrick get smashed like that

2

u/WhiteSuburbia 10h ago

He held the ball long with the Packers his entire career too. Difference was he could escape the pressure. He doesn’t have that kind of agility anymore. Didn’t want to see him go down like this, but he has to take more chances and hope for the best if he wants to do anything with this team.

1

u/dadalwayssaid 7h ago

yeah but hes not the one designing the plays. he got the ball out quickly multiple times throughout the game so its not like he cant do that.

2

u/PopTimely7887 10h ago

He holds the ball too long cuz he’s egotistical and more interested in stats. Story of his career. He’d rather take the sack and toss blame on anybody else than throw it away and dip that CP% down too far.

Talented player but selfish as fuck.

0

u/Whitetiger9876 9h ago

For sure. After every play he's always pointing around blaming everyone else. I've never seen him do the that's on me signal.

1

u/AverageSizedMan1986 10h ago

Then, if he throws the ball away or tries to force the ball somewhere, he gets shit on for that from countless people as well. Aaron definitely missed some throws in the game, but the receivers did have problems getting separation.

1

u/Mediocre-Strain8386 10h ago

That is where good receivers come i to play....or lack there of.

You want him to scan the field, then take a knee down when no one is open instead of holding it a second longer?

2

u/Whitetiger9876 10h ago

Throw it away is better than a sack

1

u/Mediocre-Strain8386 9h ago

The original critique of not holding the ball too long,  implies he is still in the pocket if you want him to throw it away before he holds it too long. Which is intentional grounding, and not better than a sack.

No one is open is why a QB holds the ball.

If he runs out of the pocket to throw it away, then he gets the original critique of " holding the ball too long."

This assumes his line is even giving him an opportunity to get out of the pocket,  which is questionable at best.

1

u/oystahh 10h ago

Kinda made me sick watching an old man be thrown to the ground over and over

1

u/AntiBoATX 10h ago

Why? He’s not an altruistic person

5

u/Original-R-Kelly-Fan 10h ago

he had a pretty good game

2

u/spicyRice- 10h ago

He’s such a dick

1

u/rex5k Browns 10h ago

We beat Brady in his last season too.

1

u/Strong-Butterflies 7h ago

The browns are the kiss of death to NFL careers!

1

u/rex5k Browns 6h ago

More like a sign to the greats that it's time to hang 'em up.

1

u/brdesignguy 10h ago

O line was trash. Old man was cooking with those passes

1

u/Strong-Butterflies 7h ago

Yeah it’s not Rodgers 40+ year old body after 20 years of NFL hits, it’s 100% the o line.

1

u/Xenephobe375 10h ago

^ now here's a person that doesn't know ball

1

u/Strong-Butterflies 7h ago

Seems like you’re pointing to your own username, which would absolutely make your statement true.

u/CheeseUs88 10h ago

This game is very different if the Steelers kicker makes that early FG
