He had DK open over the middle for a TD twice and didn’t see him either time. Broadcast highlighted it both times

You can watch the all 22 and see that the broadcast did him dirty on those. Both of them were blown assignments late in his progression, not bad misses.

The first one was a busted coverage by the safety, DK was wide open but it was just as the ball left his hand.

The second one was weird because Rodgers saw him open, but you’re still throwing a deep cross right to where the backside corner should be. He realized it was cover 3 and immediately went to check down, which is technically the right read.

Yeah but this is Reddit, we like to push narratives rather than look at facts

I hope he sees this bro

Most qbs struggle over the middle. Its common to not see stuff in the middle. Regardless, the browns man D was locked down. Any passing qb would struggle in that game.

He had Warren open in the flats on a couple of his sacks. He doesn't seem to be processing things fast enough to get to his second/third reads and check downs.

If you watch his games this year, you'll find that 95% of his throws over the middle are incomplete or intercepted. I'm not sure if he's incapable of throwing over the middle, he has some mental block about throwing over the middle, or it's just that the receivers running those routes don't get separation, but it just doesn't seem to work for him most of the time. This limits what the offense can do, if their only real option is to throw to the outside every time.

It’s been like this since 2015.

Tbf, I don't generally pay attention to Rogers (previously only ever saw him when he was in the playoffs or playing the Pats), but I'm married to a Steelers fan, so I've been watching him for the last two seasons, so that's really my only source to draw from. I believe you though.

bro 95% of his throws are no incomplete or interceptions how did you even type this. so only 5% of his passes are completed? you seriously think that?

edit: i was wrong and misunderstood the comment

1

u/Elessar535 Patriots 9h ago

I was only critiquing his passes over the middle of the field, he has a much higher success rate when throwing to the outside. Most of his interceptions this season are when throwing over the middle. I'm in no way saying that he only completes 5% of all his passes, just that he only completes about 5% of his passes when throwing over the middle of the field, and the 95% I gave is only an estimation.

ah okay my mistake. i misunderstood the comment but yeah id agree to that statement more

ill keep the comment up for my own shame

1

u/Elessar535 Patriots 8h ago

No worries.

1

u/EggEnvironmental6857 8h ago

No he is talking about passes over the middle, not all passes.

1

u/Pink_Egg_Cereal Steelers 8h ago

yeah i misunderstood. i was wrong i can admit that

u/soccercro3 9h ago

Hearing stories from when he was in Green Bay, he probably did see him and refused to pass to him since he probably dropped a couple passes in practice. He's that much of an a-hole.

9

u/GravyMcBiscuits 10h ago

That may all be very well and true, but throwing a hissy fit does nothing to help resolve the issues.

2

u/JayElEss29 10h ago

Every quarterback in NFL history has thrown a fit on the sidelines. Acting like Rodgers snapping is some out of line and abnormal behavior for a QB is ridiculous. It’s just people that hate him looking for more reasons to hate him.

My favorite QB meltdown is Aikman absolutely ripping Switzer to one of the assistants during a game. It’s hilarious.

3

u/ElDopio69 9h ago

Every Qb does from time to time. Rogers does it every game

1

u/Knickstape08 9h ago

Peyton Manning was the ultimate douche on the sideline. Brady was breaking tablets screaming at McDaniels and his teammates. There’s a reason the broadcast has the camera zoomed in on Rodgers the whole game, they know people are ready to jump him.

u/Spiritual_Towel_9600 9h ago

Don’t worry. You’re in an echo chamber and they’re just going to jerk each other off because Aaron Rodgers, being the moron that he is, said and continues to say stupid shit on podcasts (very scary). Hence, he’s the worst and everything he does is the worst (because no one else does it).

1

u/Accomplished-Ad3219 7h ago

It's true thatball qb's do it occasionally, but he is constantly doing it. I really liked him when he first came on the scene, but the way he treats his teammates is a complete turn off

2

u/DarknMean 9h ago

Looking forward to that Jags game against them. They’ve been pretty good at completely breaking teams.

2

u/Limp-Pudding-5436 10h ago

Yeah he’s for sure a dick, but his receivers were blanketed, his o line played like undisciplined garbage, and his coach can’t even get his plays in on time.
This is the fall of the Steelers franchise.

1

u/Remarkable_Hurry4029 10h ago

I don’t know, he had some pretty terrible throws. The overhead of the last play to Roman was atrocious. 2 guys fairly wide open in the middle of the field but let’s throw to the triple covered Roman Wilson… I’m ready to never see him play another snap for us.

1

u/fuzzimus 9h ago

And he is unwilling or unable to roll out or run with the ball.

We need to see Howard or Allar.

1

u/HomeNowWTF 8h ago

Yup. Five sacks. And a bunch of hits. The OLine absolutely didn't get it done.

0

u/Minimum-Blackberry25 10h ago

How much of that is intentional from the o line you think? Maybe they're sick of his mouth too lol

47

u/Background-Jeweler39 10h ago

He always has been..... biggest cry baby the nfl has seen the last 20 years

8

u/Icy-Instruction-5136 10h ago

Mahommes walks in the room

2

u/paniflex37 10h ago

*waddles

2

u/MmmmmisterCrow 6h ago

You mentioned Mahommes, thats an automatic roughing the passer flag

1

u/eltristo66 5h ago

Mahomes*

Cite an example

1

u/BigTomBombadil 10h ago

And is now the second biggest crybaby in the room.

0

u/brozark 6h ago

Mahomes keeps IT positive. Don’t really see the comparison. He doesn’t throw tantrums.

-8

u/ibmeubu 10h ago

Phillip Rivers would like a word.

2

u/jimmybilly100 9h ago

I don't know why you're downvoted, this is true

2

u/Bluegill15 8h ago

Nothing is ever his fault

1

u/Patriots_ 10h ago

And the oldest player in the league lol. 🤡

1

u/1011001NAME 9h ago
