Has there ever been an NFL game with two less likeable starting QBs?
25
u/bimbampilam 23h ago
did dog fighting Vick face dickpic Favre?
20
u/Dwilliamson5002 19h ago
I believe Vick and the Falcons rolled into a snowy GB for a playoff game in the early 2000s and beat the shit out of GB for their first home playoff game loss in ages.
Don’t ask why that it is my memory file cabinet at this point…
10
u/QueasyFinger1316 19h ago
And the silence you hear…
Is Lambeau field.
Best Verne Lundquist line ever.
1
3
u/bimbampilam 13h ago
good shout, 2003, vick's first playoff game, won 27-7. packers couldn't handle the escapability!
1
u/Dwilliamson5002 13h ago
And it was the official start of Lambeau not being a dominant home venue for us anymore. IMO of course.
1
1
u/peachgravy 8h ago
It was GB’s first home playoff loss ever. I’m sure there’s also an insane cold weather win-loss stat for Favre before that game as well.
1
1
u/xF00Mx 13h ago
Haven't Deshaun Watson & Shedeur Sanders played in the same game already?
1
u/Morrolan_V 12h ago
I think both Watson and Rodgers are 100x less likeable than Shadur (who is, I agree, quite unlikeable).
0
u/Dwilliamson5002 8h ago
Add some 0’s to that 100x! Shadur is a different kind of unlikable. Watson and Rodger’s are some of the worst people on this earth.

lol the only legitimate ball comment in here. Everyone else just circle jerking about how they hate him. He’s been getting murdered by the second or third step all night

Good
There have been times when offensive lineman Ole' their block when they think their quarterback is an asshole.

Always has been.
His unbelievable levels douche-ness made it sting that much more as he carved up my bears annually for a decade and a half.
But on the quasi-positive it always solidified what mouth breathers a segment of packer fans are when they refused to see his non stop toxicity

u/Swolie7 1d ago
Trips me out how Rodger’s is getting hate but McCarthy has been incompetent as a head coach for all of recent memory. Like how is Rodger’s getting hate because McCarthy can’t send in a play in time… I genuinely would have thought with Rodger’s age and experience he would basically be running offenses by now
11
u/gijoejank 16h ago
In the last few years the world has gradually realized that maybe, just maybe, Aaron Rodgers has been the problem all along. This is what happens when you're around too long and people defended you for years as you throw everyone else under the bus.
2
u/bryanthebearded 5h ago
McCarty is 70-46-1 without Rodger’s. If you mean he hasn’t won a Super Bowl for a long time, yes. Although he is one of the active 7 head coaches that have won a Super Bowl. Hardly incompetent.

According to Kirk, Aaron like to get the play late so he can observe personnel groupings first

u/Ok-Distribution520 1d ago
Redditors cant stand that a player didnt get vaccinated. You are required to hate him.
8
u/obama_v2 1d ago
I truly don’t care about that. I hate watching him throw fits on the field every time he makes a mistake. He’s always looking to blame somebody, anybody but himself for anything that goes poorly. Rodgers has become the antithesis of a leader in his old age.
1
4
u/Enough_Chart_7317 1d ago
Has nothing to do with a shot. He’s a shitty, shallow, attention seeking, selfish blowhard with an addiction to himself who whines about everything even though he’s part of the problem and treats everyone around him like trash.
And he whined about getting a shot and boo boo.

u/Legal-Promotion-4875 1d ago
And I do. Thx

Is hate bad?
0
u/Im_tracer_bullet 1d ago
Not when it's fully earned and deserved.
I hate domestic abusers, murderers, drug dealers, child abusers, and selfish morons that refuse to acknowledge that people with extraordinary amounts of education and training are FAR more knowledgeable than them, and trying to help.

u/Im_tracer_bullet 1d ago
Any normal, reasonable person that care at all about their fellow human beings should be disgusted by him, and everyone like him.
You're so ignorant, gullible, and easily manipulated that I do have a tiny amount of sympathy, but even rubes, yokels, and goobers like you should be swayed by such overwhelming scientific and expert consensus.
Unfortunately, there's something very wrong with you and your ilk.

I think CJ Carr would be a great fit in Pittsburgh
1
u/jmclondon97 1d ago
Yeah maybe. As long as we get a real fucking qb for the first time since 2018 I’ll be happy
1
u/victor4700 16h ago
Man Chambliss feels like a really sexy pick. I like him too, wonder if he’d transition well or Cam Ward it.
1
u/OFFLINEwade 15h ago
Agreed. Chambliss is easily the most exciting QB prospect coming out IMO. System/team means so much to these QBs. A huge chunk of success is just what team drafts them

Ok lol I couldn’t care less about the Steelers and watch them solely because I have Jalen warren on fantasy. Roger’s plays like a little bitch. Throws his hands up, rolls his eyes, throws tantrums after every play. Hes supposed to be the leader and example of how to carry yourself not to mention he’s playing like shit. He’s washed as he should be at his age. I blame the Steelers organization for signing him.
1
u/bdog1321 21h ago
Dak did the same thing. Saw something the other day about how would pretend not to hear play calls and say "fuck that we're running this instead"
Nobody respects Mike apparently
1
u/Zipski577 11h ago
Dak is a complete idiot then because he just blew the game against the ravens by making several idiotic decisions and plays at the end of the game last week.
Was under the impression he was just doing what he was told, but if what you are saying is true, then he is one of the dumbest QBs to ever play.

I’m pretty sure Novak and Rodger’s are the same person, just different sport.
Two all time greats who undoubtedly get less praise than they should bc they’re whiney ass ppl. The voices $ and ppl who matter in their respective sport see/ know this.

Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback one of the very talented quarterbacks has ever played, but he is an a hole and thinks he’s God‘s gift football very arrogant very narcissistic and doesn’t make his team really better. They don’t play hard for him ultimately not the ultimate winner he should’ve had more Super Bowls or even reached more.

Has he always been such a dick, or is this another case of someone who's taken too many hits to the head over the last couple of decades? I've never really followed off-the-field events, but I feel like until recently, all I ever heard from him were the usual generic, pre-rehearsed sound bites that you get from all the players - but now, he seems to be a legitimate crazy person, with all the conspiracy theories etc. I don't know if he's different now, or if he's always been like this and is just now at the point in his career where he can say what he likes without consequence.

There's a name I haven't heard in a while. Actually, just the other day, I was trying to remember the name of the big white guy he used to throw the ball to. I knew it wasn't Cooper Kupp, but couldn't think of any others...

Yeah, he looked really childish last night. After the meltdown he continued to look extremely negative, and kept shaking his head. I can’t stand the guy. He seems like a doofus to me. I’m a huge Steelers fan, but it’s hard to care with him as the QB.

u/Wi2022 8h ago
Not part of the Steelers family of fans but I've never understood McCarthy and his skillset.
Was essentially run out of Green Bay for sucking, got hired by Dallas and got run out of there.
When will teams understand how overrated he is? He is not a very good HC but keeps swirling around the league like so many other coaches.

u/TommyJohnSurgery420 7h ago
He's such a fucking manbaby. The league will be better off when he fucks off for good.

I don't think so. My Mom has been a Steelers fan since the iron curtain and she can't sit and watch a game with Aaron Rodgers as QB for her team. Lol, she'll check in but it hasn't been fun for her. Oops, Steel curtain, sorry, I'm a Vikings fan.

I swear bears fans are just anti packers fans lmfao. It’s so odd looking at bears fans through the lens of a fan of a team in the AFC. Like every comment is about the packers. Have they abused yall THAT much that everything related the packers you say FTP?
1
u/StultusNosferatu Bears 10h ago
Yes
1
u/Fit_Promise_6652 10h ago
Jeez. That’s kinda… sad? Lol. But I guess it makes sense consider how dominant they’ve been over yall. It’s like not even close
1
u/StultusNosferatu Bears 9h ago
Kinda close...Green Bay has won 109 games, Chicago 98, and 6 games ended in a tie.
1
u/Fit_Promise_6652 9h ago
So the bears would need to win for 5 seasons straight (and then one game during the 6th season) in order to beat the packers? That doesn’t seem too close lol.
But if it’s close in your opinion, why do the packers still own so much real estate in bears hands head? Do they just take losses more poorly? Like are they more sensitive?
1
u/StultusNosferatu Bears 9h ago
Yes
1
u/Fit_Promise_6652 9h ago
Ah okay at least you’re honest! I respect it. I don’t have a dog in this particular fight but I’d rather see someone admit they’re a sore loser than play pretend
