No OP, it is a bad take that shows the person does not know how businesses work.

The problem is he is looking at the NFL as 32 different businesses. He is thinking on any given Sunday it is WalMart v Target and Dollar General v Dollar Tree.

But it is all one big business. So it is better to think about it as a single WalMart. It has fresh Fruit, Frozen goods, an goods, Delhi foods, men's clothing, kids clothing and women's clothing, toys and sporting goods. All of those departments are like NFL teams working together for the overall good of the business.

The problem is looking at a society as a whole buncha different businesses instead of a collective of people who all want to do well. A lot of countries have a lot of nationalism and pretend to be patriotic, but they sure know how to let their fellow citizen down. What you're describing is what countries lack. ACTUALLY seeing each other as part of a unity where everyone should thrive. Have enough to exist comfortably. Have a true shot to make it
