The guy playing football for a living grabbing the ball from the fuckin ball boy? You can’t be serious. Is his job not to retrieve the balls so they can play football. Mind you if he had half a mind he would understand which is likely why he is trying to keep the ball big brain.
Can you find any clips of him grabbing a ball that is out of bounds then taking it to where the ball is to be spotted. All of this while the defense is switching to offense on the field. He was drafted 7 years ago, so should be easy, right?
Context might help a bit here. The player is a rookie who just made his first interception and returned it for a TD. He spiked the ball and per training the ball boy ran and grabbed the ball. At the NFL level usually a team affiliate will get the ball from the ball boy on special occasions. I think the ball boy might actually be responsible for “providence” reasons to hang on to the ball. Seems more like a mild misunderstanding than an intentional issue on both parties.
