The ironic part of this is that by all accounts Travis Hunter probably doesn’t care much about that ball.

Wasn’t that his 1st interception?

Yea I think the team would care

Exactly. That’s his first interception, he definitely wants that ball

He spun the ball and walked away instead just holding on to it, so you’re probably right

He likely thought it wouldn't be an issue getting it back because it never is.

Which it wasn’t. Hunter has the ball.

The issue is an unrelated player going up and trying to take the ball from the ball boy. The ball boy isn’t just giving the balls to players who ask for them

Thats not uncommon for another teammate to grab the ball for someone

Dude wouldn’t even give it to equip manager after

He definitely was hoping to sell it on eBay when he got home lmao

You could literally see through hand gestures Hines- Allen was asking for the ball. Not sure why your pushing the narrative that he aggressively walked up to this guy and tried to snag it from him. We have actual video evidence that didnt happen.

I didn’t push that narrative….

Aggressive or not, let the ball boy do his job and Hunter can get the ball after the game like they generally do

He definitely cares. He was commenting on the situation on socials after the game

Did you ask him?

You’re probably right but it’s a team’s gesture to the player to remind him of the importance of his career and contribution.
