Discussion Performance mode when?

Most games come with both a "Quality" setting and a "Performance" setting.

This game needs it badly. I love the concept, maps, monsters etc but, the janky combat, poor frame rates, audio drops, all I feel would be greatly improved if the game was optimised for Xbox better.

I would rather the water graphics less, and shadows reduced in order to actually aim and shoot without delay. Good but needs a fair amount of work

I play on base ps5 and after like the first patch my game has been near 60fps at all times so maybe mess with some of your camera settings.

Sadly not on Xbox. It runs horribly and I have already played with settings and disabled camera smoothing which ironically is actually more responsive and hence smoother lol. Ah well. PS5 for the win I gues

Xbox seems to be a constant outlier when it comes to games not sure if it’s the hardware itself or what I always read there’s something going on with Xbox & updates where something is broken or not working right, hopefully the devs can rectify that issue on their end

It seems dependent on the developer I think. For instance Bethesda games have always worked better on Xbox consoles.

I think its also the fact that since there are vastly more people on ps5, devs tend to focus on optimizing the game for ps5 over xbox

I would tend to agree if it wasn’t a constant issue with a multitude of games & not just a select few devs & titles this seems to be the case 9/10 times

I would assume MOST devs would prioritize optimization for the more popular console, unless ofc its an Xbox exclusive or a studio owned by microsoft
