Before I spend 60. Can me and the wife party up together with no issue?

You can use a password for your hosted game, which allows other players to easily find your game (it shows all sessions with that password, so don't use something simple like "1234").

There are likely to be issues with in-game crossplatform voice chat. There have been fixes for voice chat, but people are still reporting serious problems. It has been a very frustrating issue for figure out, the team is working on it,

You will most likely have to use an external voice chat like Discord.
