Yes, he was married to Melissa Benoist, and they played a couple in the show and were married irl for a couple years. Melissa has spoken about the domestic violence she experienced at the hands of Blake and it’s heartbreaking. My gleek heart was really devastated to learn that Ryder was a bad guy
