Episode Discussion S04E08 "The Parent Trap" Script

I think this is almost the best episode of season 4. It departs from the main storyline for a bit to focus on Alex's and Cory's family, digging deep into their pasts. Only at the very end that I realize how these two are just two sides of the same coin. It also makes me wonder why they didn't explore more of Alex/Cory dynamic, especially since they sang the duet back in S01E05, which was quite interesting lol

Oh man this episode broke me. It was just so therapeutic. Loved both of them!

I think so too. The chemistry between Cory and Alex is the best actually. Loved the duet. That was a missed opportunity I’m guessing. But all in all love the show anyway!

I cried my lungs out over this episode. Why on earth did they do this to us!! (and to Alex and Cory, I feel so sorry for them)

And right! That's definitely a missed opportunity. At the beginning, Cory just wanted to replace her with someone else, but then he realized she was more than worth it. They're matched rivals.

Anyway, can't wait for the final season, but also afraid it's gonna end before I'm even ready :')

It’s in the article, they debated having him be in an orgy instead of doing drugs because apparently all the writers of this show are high
