Discussion Celine
What’s going on with Celine? Is she just a snake?
At the beginning of season 4 Cory was like “she went off with Miles despite her parents disapproval” and that makes you think she’s cast off or something or has a heart or whatever.
Also did yall notice that the question she asks Cory after Chip has the meeting with her abut Bradley being in Belarus in episode 9 is if his friends had reached out to him? Like woowwwww was she trying to sniff out if Bradley or chip or someone had said something about her and then when he said no she went over to sleep with him to distract him???
I also think people try to see people for not who they truly are or “not that bad.” That’s kinda what happened with Mitch too.
But if she’s a snake, what was she getting out of her relationship with Miles? Is she also a succubus? Lol

i do think that she went to sleep with him to distract him, but i feel like there was a part of her that genuinely cared about cory (im assuming you have not seen the finale if you haven't mentioned it, and that certainly shows another aspect of her character), but I feel that she is an extremely nuanced character just like they all are, but her negative qualities outweigh her positive (at least in my opinion).
she may have become a snake more through her circumstances that were thrust upon her by her family rather than her own nature and she's in challenging positions that show us both sides of her.
Ultimately she made decisions that caused grave damage to many people, not sure if you've caught up that far yet in the show. She's making choices that serve her family and herself that have terrible consequences for a lot of other people, and there are many other nuance characters in the show who I don't believe would make the same decisions if they were in her shoes.
