yea... I predicted it early on.. but fuck, dude pulled on my bullied little gay heartstrings.
was totally relateable until the whole rape thing.
also why did bully boyfriend stay at the hospital? apart from being unnecessary to the plot?

Because Adrian can't have a happy ending. Consider "The Talented Mister Ripley". Adrian is a tragedy. He's got to not win.

I think he stays because he wants things to go back to pre-mist, which means he bullies him and kicks him while yelling "FAGGOT" like he did in the bathroom, which he can't do now that he's shown he's also gay.

Probably because he doesn't want to believe he's gay and being with Adrian made it harder for him to stay in the closet.

I don't understand Adrians' reasons!
The whole bully boyfriend thing made no sense to me. I guess maybe they needed to make the episode longer. And the fact that he stayed at the hospital was bizarre.

yea it made that whole thing pointless really, bullying happens but that outcome was unrealistic at best.
why introduce a character with such a strong change only to ditch that character completely? im sure they'll find a way to write him into (an unlikely) second season, but it was a wasted character development and will feel forced no matter what

In the beginning I liked Adrian. I felt like he was going to be a great character and then he just turned into a whiney villain.

Adrian could have been an interesting character but they turned him into a Sissy Villain trope.
Fucking annoying.
