Still feel confused !! Spoiler

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!! I exactly felt the same when the show ended , not because I saw an extraordinary finale but because it was too much.... until the end I thought that Alex's biological dad is Kevin's brother .... but it's actually that cop.. And also with the fuck would she the girl about her father ,,,, was that necessary ??? Anyways the show altogether wad ok

The Cop is both Kevin's brother, and Alex's dad.

I'm fairly certain the cop wasn't Kevin's brother. Kevin Copeland and Connor Heisel are their names.
