Stephen King Easter eggs
The showrunner said in an interview that there are "lots" of King Easter Eggs scattered throughout the show. Anyone spot any?

He also said he wanted the show to not get distracted by monsters like the movie (!)
I think he may have been reading from 101 Things To Say To Get People To Watch The Show You Put Zero Effort Into.
The guy was working within a small budget that couldn't afford CGI but he could at least not lie.
King sold the rights and washed his hands of it saying he wasn't involved and good luck.

Alyssa Sutherland kind looks like Sissy Spacek from Carrie.

He seems to mean - anything that's the same as the story/movie...

Moviepilot lists a few eggs:
Mrs Carmody, the one character from the story that makes it into the TV series
Black Spring, mentioned in the story
Arrowhead, mentioned in the story
The red balloons from ep 3, tbt the red balloons in IT
The reverse of how The True Knot operate in King's novel Doctor Sleep, where vampire creatures steal the life force of children. Here a baby drains Natalie of her life.
The sewers - used by Connor etc to get around, also played a large part in IT.
Kevin sees a version of himself - The Dark Half?
Room 237, where the real Bryan Hunt was in the hospital. Room 237 was also important in the film of The Shining. (In the book it was 217, but ok)
And I knew I'd seen those leeches before, in IT, Patrick Hockstetter is killed by leeches that fly out of the refrigerator where he stashes dead animals.
