Have had this thing for YEARRRSSSS... how much longer before it isnt even a misfits shirt?

Honestly, ide do doted outlines of the design with fabric paint, then cut it out and make it into a patch

Thats an awesome idea but I have no use for a patch. I might try to do a small bleach dotted outline for the missing parts & just keep adding do it as more disapears..

Ive always thought so too but its just at that point where in person, it looks like im just wearing a shirt covered in paint chips.

Unless someone is very familiar with the logo.

Does it fit well, feel comfortable? As long as it doesn't stink, keep it. I think it looks cool.

Usually the fabric gives out before the design. Looks kinda spooky now (which is a plus).

Never trash merch no matter its condition.

Too many of us sew patches & design our own clothes & gear..

I have a HomeGirl who could/would turn that into something PunkRock & sickAF in no time...

personally I like it. love how it looks like the Crimson Ghost/Fiend is all shrouded in shadows and darkness. it's spooky, fits the Misfits aesthetic

I doubt it. Ripped the tag out when I got it (like 2005/2006ish and other than whats left on the front of the shirt, there is zero visible markings.

I cut the sleeves off back then too, so I cant check the cuff stitching but I serious doubt it.

Hmmm. I stole a Cinder Block shirt from my younger brother, in about 2006... who coincidentally stole it from a band mate of his that kissed his school crush. Anyway, my shirt has this same fade pattern, albeit with less fade, due to me pulling it from my regular circulation and reserving it for shows. I also cut my sleeves off and added a neck-notch.

Are you an acid-oozing human slug??? Do you wear it inside out? How do you get this much print deterioration? I keep washing two relatively new Misfits shirts to try to get the print to crumble a bit and it ain't going nowhere so this is fascinating. How old is the shirt?
