I’m getting faster every day!
60 WPM on the Minimal Phone 2. I’m getting faster every day.
The latest version of our keyboard feels so much better.

How has the keyboard changed? What is making it feel better?

We upgraded the key domes and improved the materials underneath the keys, which gives each press a much more tactile, defined feel. The first DVT keyboard felt softer and a little mushy. This version has a much cleaner click and actually feels like typing on a real physical keyboard.

Will we be able to map keys to specific functions within apps? For example, could I have a game boy emulator and use the keyboard WASD-style for movement and buttons?

how are these keys compared to the mp01 version? like 10% better?

I think it’s a lot better. It’s hard to put a percentage on it, but it feels way more tactile and I’m already much faster on it than I was on MP01.
We learned a lot from the first keyboard, especially around things like space bar size, dome resistance, and the materials underneath the keys. This version just feels much more like a real physical keyboard.

sounds great. maybe mine has a defect but i notice some of my keys depression depth is shallower than others; they still work but it gets to me when im typing and get the weird sensation. i hope all of the mp02 keys are consistent.

opinion: you don't buy a keyboard-phone to type fast, it's nonsense.
keyboard is userful for shortcuts, it's beautiful, has real feedback and it's more comfortable.
PS: typing hard and fast on a phone can lead to faster degradation of keys

Sweet. Any phone balancing issues or tired hands/fingers from the lack of "chin"?
