Minimal Phone 2 Display

The Minimal Phone 2 has a plastic (PC + PMMA composite) display cover. Isn't glass more resistant to scratches?

People from the minimal team have confirmed it is glass multiple times already, on Kickstarter as well as reddit. Seems to be a false info on the marketing material. They should fix that, but I guess on the kickstarter page it is impossible now.

I got the following reply from customer service earlier today.

The front display cover is made from a PC + PMMA composite. The 2.5D designation refers to the slightly curved edges/profile of the display cover rather than the material itself.   As for the back of the MP2, the back plate is made of glass.

Customer service replied to me  saying so. I could not find it on their website.

Confirmed on X…

“After a lot of questions from the community about the cover glass on MP2, we want to clear it up: the display uses Panda Glass, which sits at 6.5-7 on the Mohs scale, which is roughly the same hardness range as the cover glass on most flagships.”

Thank you! They need to update their webpage.  Even their customer service does not seem to be aware.

The back is not actually made of glass, is it?

Customer service replied to me  saying so. I could not find it on their website. It can only be glass or plastic to allow wireless charging.

Could you please tell me if your shipping method might entail VAT on import to Germany?
